The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest
Only those with a limited edition Wind Waker could get their hands on this. It's a remake of the legendary Ocraina of Time. All the dungeons in the game have been filled with new puzzles to make the quest harder, hence Master Quest. Now I would say The Ocarina of Time is a better game than the Wind Waker, but there were just a few things that let me down about this game that made me give this a lower score. Sure, playing through that awesome story again brought back some great memories and the higher resolution and improved framerate was a nice improvement to the visuals, however not great. You can only really appreciate the difference if you play the original Ocarina of Time on the N64. You'll see it's a lot less hazy and runs much smoother but after hearing rumours of a complete OoT (Ocarina of Time) remake, where everything in the game is changed to the graphic detail of the 'cube and then seeing this is quite dissapointing, but that was just a rumour and it's unfair to judge the game by that so ignore it. The game plays exactly the same really, same storyline, same world, same map layouts, but as I said, the cool thing is the new puzzles. It's a big suprize when you enter the first dungeon. The Deku Tree was a good challenge and definetly gets you on your toes, you really can't expect what you see. It's like that for all the dungeons, the puzzles are pure genious and get pretty bloody hard, but it really bugged me when the new dungeons ended up cutting the true size of the dungeon in half. The Temples such as the Fire and Water were made harder by forcing you into the harder rooms first. And by doing this you got the new tool, and the boss key, and your ready to fight the boss even though there's quite a few rooms you haven't entered yet. Personally I went in all the rooms before I took on the boss. Half these rooms are really pointless and your lucky to find a Gold Skulltula in them, but I remember the feeling when I was outside the boss room knowing I could finnish it all now. It's really dissapointing, especially after loving the original, it makes the dungeons and game feel short, because the original did a really good job of being a full game. The attitude feels real lazy then and it's a bit of a let down, I might be making a big deal out of this when it isn't, but then it's just my appinion. This game is still really cool and any fan of the original will love it. This game earns a 9/10 easy.
